Plonk Launch the 'Games Grotto' for Christmas
As Christmas draws ever closer, what better way to celebrate than some festive, wholesome activities. Expect golf, games, crafts, food, and drinks in the warmth at Plonk’s premier site in London Fields. The course itself will be lined with plenty of Xmas trees to get that smell of yuletide in the air. The course has been lit with festive lighting and they’ve now got bespoke plonk trophies for the course's best scores.
The Plonk London Field’s BYOB offering has now been replaced by their new fully stocked licensed bar. Expect their new winter tropical cocktail menu, a fusion of summer classics all a winter’s twist - like their Blueberry Caipirinha with homemade blueberry syrup. Alongside the cocktail menu, they will be stocking local craft beer on tap a large range of 0% drinks.
The classic German Xmas market staple - large German sausages in buns will keep people heartily fed, served alongside Xmas toppings, and of course vegan options available as well. Opened on Thursday 3rd December and running through to Christmas. Food, two drinks, golf, arcade tokens will come to the satisfying amount of £30 per person, which you can upgrade to £35 for 2 of their new cocktails
The inside games bar and arcade has been overhauled to a Games Grotto for Christmas, holding true to Plonk’s DIY nature, an origami decoration machine will be set up holding a number of different build your own Christmas decorations. The concept is simple, slot in three of the game tokens and out pops a unique, DIY, eco-friendly decoration. The pinball machines are also being swapped with a classic Star Wars machine and even one once owned by Pink Floyd.
As we are drinking and eating at tables these days, Plonk have brought in even more board games. Now keen players can try before they buy any board game on offer and Plonk will send a copy to your home.
As for entertainment at Home, The Plonk at Home Pack is a specially created Plonk activity book with paper designs to make a custom mini golf course to play at home. Learn to make loops, hills, jumps, clubs and balls and the best crazy golf creations that are tagged to Plonk's socials will win prizes, including the best design being built in one of their venues next year! It's the perfect affordable gift and craft fun activity for home over the festive season.
