Las Iguanas Partners With Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila To Launch UK’s First 818 Day

On 18th August, Las Iguanas, the home of Latin American vibes and boldly spiced flavours, will partner with premium spirits brand 818 Tequila to celebrate the UK’s first 818 Day. The 818 Tequila name comes from founder Kendall Jenner’s hometown of Calabasas, California, and in honour of 818 Day, Las Iguanas will host a weekend of celebrations at its Royal Festival Hall restaurant in London starting on 18th August 2023.

The celebrations will include a day of 818 Tequila focused activities including guided tastings at a pop-up 818 bar, consumer competitions, and a limited-edition cocktail menu that will be available exclusively at Las Iguanas Royal Festival Hall from 18th-20th August. Created by the Las Iguanas bar team in collaboration with 818 Tequila, the cocktail menu will include ‘Kenny’s Favourite Marg’, an 818 Spicy Marg, and an 818 Old Fashioned.

The 818 Day activity marks the start of a long-term partnership between Las Iguanas and 818 Tequila in the UK, with 818 Tequila being listed nationwide on Las Iguanas menus in the next month. To celebrate the partnership further, the team will be hosting two more pop-up parties at Las Iguanas restaurants in Birmingham Brindleyplace and Liverpool at the end of August.

Lisa Gibbons, Managing Director, Las Iguanas, said:

“818 Tequila has generated a huge buzz from the moment Kendall Jenner teased its launch in 2021 and rightly so, it’s a fantastic premium spirit and we’re delighted to be partnering with Kendall and her team to bring it to a wider UK audience.”

“We’re also excited to see the buzz that the UK’s first 818 Day brings to Las Iguanas ahead of our ongoing partnership with the brand. By blending our vibrant bold and authentic flavours with 818’s distinctive character and exceptional quality, we seek to deliver a winning formula for all our guests. We envisage 818 Day becoming a key calendar moment for our guests and look forward to our continued collaboration.”
