Brixton Oktoberfest Launches Welcoming 2,100 People per Event

Converting the heart of Brixton into an indoor, lederhosen laced Oktoberfest extravaganza

Prepare for a Bavarian blast as Oktoberfest Brixton makes its grand debut in London this October 2023! The party is set to pop off at Electric Brixton, which will accommodate up to 2,100 merrymakers from 1pm to 8pm across four thrilling Saturdays – 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th of October. Brixton will become the heart of Bavarian exuberance, with the space morphing into an energetic beer hall complete with traditional wooden tables, festive bunting, live music from German Jukebox + DJs playing your favorite party anthems, alongside seated and standing spots for group, corporate and all-out party goers!. The atmosphere will be ripe with conviviality and cheer that guarantees a bohemian party beyond compare.

The first Oktoberfest Brixton promises a dizzying mix of hearty German food, invigorating music, and rip-roaring comedy. Spearheaded by Oktoberfest UK, the event will serve up a feast of authentic Bavarian street food, including wursts flown in directly from Germany's Black Forest. Spaten, Löwenbräu & Becks will keep glasses filled and spirits high with their top-notch German beers.

German Jukebox will fill the venue with oompah atmosphere, well known for electrifying the European party scene with their energetic and effervescent performances. Pioneers of contemporary Oompah music, they have carved a unique niche for themselves, breathing fresh life into traditional Bavarian tunes and infusing them with modern pop and rock flavors. Beyond the classic live music, DJs will play party tunes to get all dancing on tables and cheering along with a full stein of beer.

Charlie Holden, Co-founder of Oktoberfest UK says"Fasten your lederhosen, Brixton! We're about to transform our corner of London into the ultimate Bavarian bash, brimming with non-stop music, a smorgasbord of German delicacies, and rivers of world-class German beer. This isn't just an Oktoberfest, it's a full-blown party! We're flying in the best wursts from Germany's Black Forest, bringing the house down with the hottest Oompah beats from German Jukebox, and keeping the good times flowing with the finest German brews. Let's fill Brixton to the brim with laughter, cheers, and a party spirit that'll shake Oktoberfest to its core. Get ready to eat, drink, dance, and revel like never before. Brixton, are you ready to party, Oktoberfest-style?"

The Oktoberfest Brixton event goes beyond just lively music and frothy mugs of beer - it also showcases the mouthwatering traditional Bavarian cuisine. From pretzels to bratwursts, the event immerses attendees in authentic German gastronomy, which is as integral to the Oktoberfest experience as the famous German Jukebox tunes. Among the food, visitors can find the iconic pretzels, knotted and salt-speckled, an ideal companion to a stien of lager. The aroma of Bratwursts and other hearty sausages sizzling on grills wafts through the festival grounds, while hearty plates of Schweinshaxe (roast pork knuckles) offer a robust flavor that stands up to the most robust beers.

Adding a touch of authenticity, waitstaff will be donned in traditional Dirndl and Lederhosen, making sure that glasses never run dry. Whether partygoers choose to be in the heart of the action with general standing tickets or want a bit more exclusivity with table packages, the Oktoberfest Brixton experience promises to be unforgettable one.

Brought to you by the team behind Oktoberfest UK, known for hosting sold-out Oktoberfest events since 2016, Brixton Oktoberfest aims to deliver an authentic Bavarian experience in London. Get ready to step into a world of laughter, camaraderie, good food, and of course, excellent beer. Brixton, get ready to party – Oktoberfest-style!
