Gordon’s Announces Launch of New Sicilian Lemon Flavour Variant

Gordon’s, the UK’s best-selling gin brand[1], has today announced the launch of Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon (37.5% ABV), just in time for summer. A Mediterranean twist on the original recipe from Alexander Gordon, Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon is available in 70cl format.

Impeccably crafted to balance the classic characteristics of Gordon’s with the finest juicy Sicilian lemons, the latest flavour innovation is made with the highest quality ingredients and uses 100% natural flavours.

Set to capitalise on the ongoing gin trend, Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon is perfectly placed to follow in the footsteps of Gordon’s Premium Pink Distilled Gin – which, since its launch in 2017, has continued to go from strength-to-strength and is now the most successful new spirit product development in the last decade[2].

Jessica Lace, Head of Gordon’s Europe, comments, “As consumers become more adventurous with their drinks choices and want to explore new flavours, there is an ever-increasing appetite for different styles of gin. We have spent a long-time crafting Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon to ensure we deliver the perfect balance of flavours. The result is an outstandingly zesty gin which delivers a zesty twist for consumers seeking new ways to enjoy their favourite G&T.

“Following the amazing response to Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin, we aim to continue to engage the interest of current gin drinkers and recruit a new audience into the category with our new flavour innovation.”

Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon joins a family of award-winning gins, including Gordon’s Sloe Gin, Gordon’s With a Spot of Elderflower, a raft of RTD formats and Gordon’s Ultra Low Alcohol Gin & Tonic Flavoured Drinks. With Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon leading the charge, there are more flavour innovations anticipated to roll out this year– more information to be revealed in coming months.

Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon is available in key wholesalers now, for pre-order on Amazon (w/c 24th February) and available in all major grocers (from 10th March)
