Taste of London Festive: Raise a Glass With World Class Drinks

Returning to Tobacco Docks for another year, the Taste of London Festive Edition will transform the iconic Tobacco Dock into a haven of winter delights from the 21st - 24th November, celebrating some of the city’s finest food and drink.

The perfect way to kick off the Christmas season, Taste of London Festive offers visitors the chance to indulge in a variety of dishes from renowned chefs and top restaurants, as well as drinks experiences from an array of acclaimed brands. This year, the award-winning collection of World Class Spirits will offer guests a taste of luxury, with bespoke cocktails and hands-on masterclasses from favourites Tanqueray No. TEN Gin, Ketel One Vodka and Johnnie Walker Whisky.

With so much to see, do and taste at the festival, here’s a list of some of the top drinks experiences you won’t want to miss…

House of Tanqueray No. TEN

Luxury gin brand Tanqueray No. TEN, that has a fresh citrus heart, will host a gin experience like no other, with cocktails served up by Cameron Attfield, World Class GB Bartender of the Year 2019. This chic bar is the perfect Christmas haven, with a cosy fireplace, traditional Christmas tree and elegant seating. In addition, guests will have the chance to take part in a unique sensory tasting experience, helping them to explore their senses through analysing their braina ctivity. Guests will be presented with scented vials of Tanqueray No. TEN botanicals, and will have their brainwaves read in order to determine particular scents that give them the most pleasure, before receiving a personalised report based on the result. Th e experience will be led by Tanqueray Brand Ambassador, Jack Sotti, and will result in a bespoke Tanqueray No. TEN cocktail, unique to the individual.

What's more, this year, guests will be able to make their way to House of Tanqueray No. TEN’s gifting station, where they can purchase a personalised Tanqueray bottle, for something extra special. Each bottle is hand-wrapped in gift wrap and sealed with the iconic Tanqueray wax seal, making this luxurious gift the perfect present for any gin lover.

Ketel One Kitchen Disco Bar

Known for their iconic Espresso Martinis, Ketel One Vodka will be taking over three locations at the festival this year, including the star of the show, Ketel One Kitchen Disco Bar. Here guests can sip on a variety of Ketel One cocktails including the festive Ketel One Hot Mule, as they soak up the disco vibes underneath the sparkle o f disco balls. Guests will also have the chance to try out the Ripple Machine, which prints bespoke pictures and writing onto the top of decadent Espresso Martinis. In addition to the main Ketel One Kitchen Disco bar, there will also be two pop-up Ketel One Espresso Bars serving the much-loved, signature martini for guests to enjoy throughout the festival.

Johnnie Walker Highball Bar

Johnnie Walker, is bigger and better this year, taking over the outside decked area, bringing the ultimate Johnnie Walker Whisky Highball Experience. With the famous Johnnie Walker Striding Man statue and resident DJ on the terrace, the Johnnie Walker Highball Bar offers a picture-perfect moment for guests to capture. Highball Masterclasses will be available to book, showcasing the unique bold flavour pairings, whilst the resident DJ plays on the terrace.

The latest highball collection consists of five flavour-packed drinks which pair the smooth taste of Johnnie Walker Black Label with the interesting flavours of Ginger, Peach, Lemon, Elderflower and Green Tea. If desired, all five options can be discovered with the miniature Highball Flight served with a moreish popcorn snack.

World Class Cocktails at Home Bar

The World Class Cocktails at Home Bar will serve a selection of drinks created by the World’s best bartenders, including GB World Class Bartender of the Year and 2018 Global runner-up Daniel Warren. The menu will feature a selection of classic cocktails and signature serves, containing everyone’s favourite World Class spirits such as; Don Julio tequila, Tanqueray No. TEN gin, Ketel One Vodka and Belsazar Wine Aperitif . The menu offers special cocktails including, a Belsazar Rose & Tonic as well as festive twists such as the Bulleit Bourbon Winter Spice.

For those interested in recreating their favourite serves, the ‘Cocktails at Home’ masterclass will be returning to the World Class Cocktail Bar this year. This festive takeover showcases the world's best bartenders making the very best drinks, offering guests the opportunity to learn how to make the popular Tanqueray No. TEN Gin Collins and Bulleit Bourbon Sour at home during the festive season.
