World Gin Day (8th June) – Celebrating out or at Home With Gin Mare
The summer season is fast approaching, and with it comes World Gin Day; the biggest date in the gin calendar and the perfect excuse to indulge in the nation’s favourite spirit – if you needed one!
This year, Gin Mare – recently voted Britain’s best in the Good Housekeeping’s gin taste test – is celebrating with a plethora of activities and invites you to enjoy London’s first bottomless gin brunch at Shoreditch’s Bull in a China Shop. For those celebrating the occasion at home, Gin Mare have also created their The Triple Orange, guaranteed to make a stir.
For the Bull in a China Shop brunch on World Gin Day, Gin Mare is joining forces with Silent Pool, Colonel Fox and KI NO BI and lucky Londoners who bag a space will be able to choose between a Gin Mare Red Snapper, Silent Pool Lavender Bees Knees, Colonel Fox G&T or a KI NO BI Collins to wash down a selection of delicious brunch dishes.
From Waffles for Grown Ups (served with bacon and caramelised boozy bananas), to Bull Range Eggs, to a Beef Fillet Club with Caramelised Onions, there really is something for everyone.
The bottomless gin brunch will run between 12pm and 5pm on Saturday 8th June, with two-hour slots for unlimited drinks. For bookings go to http://www.bullinachinashop.london/events
Lastly, for those entertaining at home, Gin Mare has created a suitably summery cocktail that’s bound to keep your guests coming back for more - The Triple Orange. Sophisticated enough to impress, yet quick and simple to make, meaning you are free to soak up the sun with a cocktail in hand.
