Backyard Cinema Are Bringing the Spirit of L.A. to Camden’s Roundhouse This Summer

Backyard Cinema are transforming Camden's Roundhouse into L.A.’s legendary Venice Beach this July. Complete with giant palm trees, a retro beach bar, and a sea of giant bean bags on the sand, it is set to be the ultimate summer cinema. Backyard Cinema’s famous ‘Sing-a-Long Beach Parties’ will see customers let loose and sing their hearts out to their favourite movie soundtracks, alongside 400 other movie lovers. Backyard Cinema: L.A. Nights will be London’s ultimate summer event - rewind back to a retro L.A., a time of sun-kissed beaches, tall palm trees, and West Coast vibes. Guests can leave their plastic ponchos at home because the entire bohemian beachscape will be covered. Whether it’s a night out with mates, that special date or an evening with the kids, L.A. Nights is the ultimate setting to watch the hottest lineup of films this summer. The year's best blockbusters including Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, The Lego Movie 2 and Captain Marvel, award-winning new releases including BlackkKlansman, A Star is Born and Stan and Ollie and of course Backyard classics Back to the Future and Clueless.

It wouldn’t be summertime in L.A. without a beach party or two - hang out at the beach bar and sip cool cocktails under palm trees singing along to classic West Coast hits. This season is all about letting loose, so everyone’s invited to Backyard Cinema’s famous sing-a-long beach parties. Guests can watch The Greatest Showman, Dirty Dancing, Grease and Bohemian Rhapsody and are invited to bellow out the soundtracks as loud as they can. With dazzling light shows and real-life dancers even the most tone-deaf will be in the mood to join in.
