Learn, Sample and Relax - NB Distillery Launches State of the Art Distillery Tours

NB Distillery is offering a unique visitor experience based in the scenic seaside town of North Berwick in East Lothian. The distillery has opened its doors for the first time, offering guests the chance to experience luxury gin tours with a difference.

Sited at Halfland Barns, near Tantallon Castle, a picturesque location in the heart of the East Lothian countryside, the NB Distillery experience will be one of style and like no other distillery tour experienced before. Think slippers; log burners, comfy sofas - and of course, deliciously large gin and tonics.

The premium, bespoke tours will offer an experience of learning, luxury, sampling of world class products (NB Gin, a classic London dry, and NB Navy, a navy strength gin at 57% ABV.) and tours of the incredible facility.

Canapés produced by award-winning local chef, JP MacLachlan, who has previously worked with top chefs Raymond Blanc, Martin Wishart and Gordon Ramsay, will be provided as part of the experience, using ingredients sourced from across East Lothian. Visitors will be made to feel like they’re coming home when they step through the door; a vision created for visitors to learn, sample and relax in a beautiful environment.

The state of the art distillery is energy neutral, featuring solar panels, lighting and heating. Additionally, the building will capture rain water, store it and allow it to be reused for the condensing process of stilling.

The opening comes at an exciting time for the company with its recent launch into the US market. The deal, expected to exceed £4m in sales over the next five-years, will see NB’s Original London Dry Gin and Navy Strength introduced across 20 states to Total Wine & More, the largest drinks retailer in the country.

Both products will initially be introduced to 80% of Total Wine’s stores across New York, New Jersey, Florida and California, with plans to expand the range across additional states later this year.
