Tanqueray No.TEN partners with London venues to create a series of Summer terrace activations.

Diageo Reserve’s super-premium gin brand, Tanqueray No. TEN has partnered with a number of venues across the UK to create a series of summer drinks terraces. The activations have been established to engage the on-trade and inspire consumers in line with the new brand platform ‘It’s what you put in’, designed to encourage independent thinkers to express their ingenuity.

Each terrace will feature a range of innovative menus and bespoke Tanqueray No. TEN serves, including the signature Tanqueray No. Ten and tonic, championing the iconic grapefruit which draws out the liquid’s citrus botanicals and unique flavour profile.

Five-star hotel, Rosewood London is among the venues to offer guests a luxury summer terrace experience. The hotel will serve a number bespoke Tanqueray No. TEN cocktails, including the Blushing Lady – Tanqueray No. TEN, pamplemousse liquor, fresh grapefruit juice, sugar syrup and champagne.

To celebrate London Food Month, of which, Diageo Reserve is the exclusive spirits sponsor, a new Tanqueray No. TEN summer terrace at St. Martin’s Lane Hotel will open to the public for the first time. The area will be transformed into a secret Tanqueray No. TEN garden in the heart of Covent Garden, serving an English G&T afternoon tea.

Bluebird Café, Gaucho, and four Darwin & Wallace sites will also take part in the summer experiences, serving bespoke gin cocktails, created in partnership with Tanqueray No. TEN brand ambassador, Tim Homewood.

Tim Homewood commented: “This is a really exciting opportunity for us to support the on-trade by partnering with some of the UK’s best bars for to celebrate all things gin. Tanqueray No. TEN’s flavour profile lends itself incredibly well to a number of mixed drinks and the classic gin and tonic is still a go-to serve for the summer. What better way to enjoy the summer than on a terrace with a Tanqueray No. TEN serve in hand.”

Nick Temperley, Head of Diageo Reserve GB added: “Super-premium gin remains a leading spirits choice as it continues to grow in the on-trade, up 24% in value and 23% in volume[1]. As appreciation for quality becomes increasingly important to consumers, it’s essential that pubs, bars and restaurants offer a choice of super-premium spirits such as Tanqueray No. TEN to capitalise and deliver on this.

“This year’s series of summer terraces form part of our continued support for and investment in the on-trade. The terraces present the perfect opportunity to engage consumers with gin by crafting a really special summer experience.”
