Established in 2021 by friends Trond Rornes and Pierre‑Loup DeCam, the pair have been passionate about wines for decades. Bringing Pierre‑Loup’s expertise in viniculture and Trond’s hospitality knowledge, Bacchus Wines offers hand‑selected, exciting wines with unique character, provenance, and longevity.
The online wine shop launches with seven beautiful wines from the Château de Parenchère, which dates back to 1570. The wine producers have a long and well-established history in viticulture, producing award-winning wines (Decanter World Wine Awards & International Wine Challenge). For decades, chef and restaurateur Jake Saul Watkins has been a fan of the Château de Parenchère wines.

The Bacchus Wines PLDC Magnificent Seven Parenchère wine collection includes, a deep and fleshy Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge, a concentrated yet elegant and woody Cuvée Raphaël Bordeaux Supérieur, the long ageing potential of the Esprit de Parenchère Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge, the snappy and fruity L’Équilibriste Bordeaux Rouge, the citrus fresh Bordeaux Blanc Sec, the exuberantly fruity Bordeaux Clairet and the fresh and floral La Roseraie Bordeaux Rose.
