Venue Insight April Issue - OUT NOW

It’s amazing to shout about new openings and events as it really shows the resilience of the industry after an unprecedented time of uncertainty. Morden Wharf, a new open air venue is launching at Greenwich’s Morden Wharf at the end of April, with street food, DJs and Funktion One sound. Bringing something new to the Peckham pub scene, The Greyhound opens this spring as the second of the Queen House venue family, joining The Paxton. The Big Table Group has launched the newly named ‘Rouge’, a brand new concept restaurant in the Birmingham Bullring, after a £250,000 refurbishment. Fields of Fantasy, set in an idyllic setting only 15-minute drive from Bristol centre, will be three days of hedonism surrounded by natural beauty spanning a magical forest and open bodies of water.

The top three entrants will be crowned by the expert panel and win a Golden Ticket to the final – in autumn 2022 on the event's home turf (includes flights and accommodation). Out is the new in, with TheMusicLicence from PPL PRS. When thinking about how to attract customers to your business this summer, especially to your outdoor space, using live music or DJ sets can help to give your business a unique feel and help to draw customers in. It can make the space feel more engaging, give people a reason to go out, and may be why they choose your business over others. So, as you prepare for the summer ahead, use music to help you ensure your beer garden or outdoor space stays in with your customers.
