Paddington Central Celebrates the British Summertime With Open Air Big Screen and BBQ Feast

Toast to the British summertime the right way at Paddington Central, the vibrant London neighbourhood nestled between the Grand Union Canal and Paddington Station. To celebrate the warm season Paddington Central has launched a giant open air screen, located in its stunning amphitheatre, playing a range of sporting events such as the highly anticipated Tokyo Olympics (23th July-8th August) as well as a range of family film favourites during the weekend.
Smith’s Bar & Grill, the modern British inspired eatery located right by the Grand Union Canal and just a short walk from the amphitheatre, knows better than anyone that the best way to spend a summer’s day is watching incredible sports whilst sipping on an ice cold drink and enjoying some delicious food. Smith’s have fired up their BBQs and their grill experts will be sizzling up a storm on their outdoor gas barbecues until the 8th August for the perfect treat. Dishes include miso glazed chicken thighs served with colourful pickled veg, grass-fed flat iron steak complete with chips and a chimichurri sauce and smoked barbeque pork ribs garnished with spring onions. Relax and enjoy their stunning terrace looking out onto the Grand Union Canal or for the sports fiends, take it to go and enjoy the smoky deliciousness with a front row seat of the action.

Once the sports has ended for the night guest’s can also extend their stay into the evening with Paddington Central’s varied drinking and dining spots and take in the delightful atmosphere as they wander along the Grand Union Canal.
