One of the Oldest Liqueurs in the Bar Is One of the Newest Consumer Picks

If you think that cocktails are mostly about citrus taste notes, it's time to rethink. Research from CGA* shows that, in fact, some of the most popular flavours are red fruits, with berries topping the list and cherries coming in strongly too.
According to Heering Cherry's maker, De Kuyper, it's no surprise that when questioned, 25% of UK consumers drink cherry flavoured cocktails. In fact, fruity cocktails are the drink of choice for around half the British population, with 51% loving berry flavours specifically and 48% favouring ‘fruity' flavours.
"Heering Cherry Liqueur isn't just for Singapore Slings," says Tina Connolly, Senior Brand Manager at Amber Beverage UK, which distributes the brand in the UK. "This is a liqueur that is probably on everyone's back bar but increasingly should be front of mind when developing new cocktails, particularly for Spring and Summer. The sophisticated cherry notes in this luxurious real fruit liqueur mean it's time to rethink this traditional drink."
