Nights Out Are on the House for NHS Workers at ‘Mr. Tipsy’s Down the Hatch!’

Central London’s newest immersive themed cocktail bar joins forces with Tickets For Good to offer NHS workers a unique bar crawl experience - for free!
‘Thirsty Thursdays’ and after-work drinks get a makeover this autumn as ‘London’s most epic bar crawl’ welcomes NHS workers for themed tipple-tasting, on the house. Mr. Tipsy’s Down The Hatch!, created by the California team responsible for San Francisco’s The Speakeasy, blends live entertainment with classic bar crawl themes for an immersive cocktail-tasting tour. Following in the footsteps of major West End shows like Heathers, Come From Away and Be More Chill, Mr. Tipsy’s Down The Hatch! are welcoming NHS staff with cost-free tickets thanks to a partnership with Tickets For Good.

The wacky concept promises NHS workers, plus a friend or family member, the chance to dance, laugh and sip drinks from immersive themed bars including a Wild West saloon, Tiki Tipi, a roarin’ 1920s speakeasy and Oktoberfest. Every Thursday, the central London venue will host ‘TFG Thursdays’, when NHS workers are invited round to Mr. Tipsy’s Down The Hatch! for a bar crawl normally worth £30, for just a £3.50 booking fee via Tickets For Good. Wacky costumes are highly encouraged to get everyone in the party spirit, while video projections, comedians, cowboys, clowns, beach bums, drag queens, and live musicians complete the midweek madness. Non-drinkers won’t miss out on the fun either, with non-alcoholic alternatives available from each bar’s friendly hosting team.
It’s hoped that NHS workers will relish the chance to relax and unwind with colleagues and friends, after a challenging time to work in healthcare. Thousands of NHS workers have already enjoyed events including major festivals, gigs and West End shows thanks to Tickets For Good, who specialise in making the UK’s best events accessible to NHS workers, key workers and charitable partners.

Creator of Mr. Tipsy’s Down The Hatch!, Nick A. Olivero (“Ollie”), said, “We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing unique Mr. Tipsy’s hijinks to NHS workers with Tickets For Good. What better way to raise a glass to the NHS than by making sure they’ve got a cocktail in hand and on the house? The amazing work they’ve done to help us all through the pandemic has been incredibly tough, so we’re delighted to be giving something back.”
Steve Rimmer, Tickets for Good’s CEO, added “The one thing we’ve all missed during the pandemic has been quality time with loved ones. Most of all this is true for NHS workers, who have given up so much to keep us safe. We hope that TFG Thursdays at Mr. Tipsy’s will be a great opportunity for them to enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation.”
