New Shanky’s Whip Whiskey-Based Liqueur Launches in the UK

SHANKY’S WHIP – Smooth, Black and Irish – the new Whiskey-based liqueur – set to whip up a storm in the spirits category

Biggar and Leith, innovative importer of spirits and fancy foods from around the globe, today launched an exciting new drinks brand, Shanky’s Whip, set to disrupt the drinks category. The smooth, black Whiskey liqueur is based on a combination of Irish spirits and aged pot still whiskey, blended with the natural flavour of vanilla and infused with caramel. The resulting spirit is black and smooth with a rich, whippy flavour dominated by spicy Irish Whiskey notes.

Distilled in Co. Cavan and blended and bottled by Shanky & Shireman under bond in Ireland, Shanky’s Whip is available to purchase via wholesale across the UK from today via UK distributor, Craftwork.

Shanky’s Whip is presented in a bespoke glass bottle with the word Ireland embossed around the top. The label, inspired by vintage Irish matchbox artwork, features the fantastical Irish jockey, Shanky, a wild boy of racing. Always one to buck the trend, when thrown from his horse, he returned to the race track with an ostrich and cart and, of course, a whip.
