King of Soho Copacetic Vodka To Roll Out Nationwide and Overseas

The King of Soho, the London-based gin and vodka brand, has announced a wider rollout of its new ultra premium Copacetic Vodka, following the brand’s soft launch in London’s Soho in autumn 2022. Recently listed by Lanchester Wines and Master of Malt in the UK, the brand’s Copacetic Vodka has now also gained its first overseas’ listings in the Netherlands and France.

The brand will be participating through its recently-appointed distributor, Square Dranken Nederland B.V., at the DrankenbeurZ 2023 trade show in the Netherlands on 17-18 September (Stand 1205), an important showcase for the on-trade and the first time the brand has exhibited in the Netherlands.

Made using English wheat, The King of Soho Copacetic Vodka (40% ABV) is distilled in small batches. It is a subtle and delicate spirit with taste notes that include toasted crumpet, apples, lemon zest and black pepper. The mouthfeel is rich and slightly buttery. It is so exceptionally smooth that this vodka can be enjoyed neat over ice, in Martini-style drinks, or in other contemporary or classic cocktail serves.

The King of Soho Copacetic Vodka is notable not only for its smooth and approachable taste, but also for its distinctive purple bottle. The method of decoration, with the use of organic inks and a water-based coating on clear glass, makes the bottle readily recyclable, eco-friendly, and royally dressed for any occasion.

At a time when other spirits are in the limelight, The King of Soho brand’s co-founder, entrepreneur and leading businesswoman, Alex Robson, reminds us that vodka remains buoyant and that premium vodkas are very much in demand. Total vodka sales last year rose by 3% YOY, according to Euromonitor International data.

Vodka-based serves that are especially popular amongst consumers are Porn Star Martinis, Espresso Martinis, Cosmopolitans, and Long Island Iced Teas.

With at-home cocktail making now so popular, knowledge about ingredients has increased amongst consumers. Included in the brand’s range are The King of Soho London Dry Gin and The King of Soho Variorum Berry Gin, a contemporary pink gin.

The King of Soho Copacetic Vodka and the gins in the range appeal to consumers seeking fine quality spirits as well as to high-end venues including bars and cinemas, and online retailers.

Already, The King of Soho team is working on a new vodka expression to add to the collection.

The brand was co-founded by the two owners and directors, Alex Robson and Howard Raymond. It is a celebration of the Soho legacy of Howard Raymond’s famous father, Paul – the original ‘King of Soho’. The packaging design features an iconic character with each element representing the flamboyant, creative, and hedonistic spirit that Soho is known for. The velvet tailoring of the figure on the bottle is a tribute to the area’s fashion heritage whilst the tail of the fox is suggestive of fun and high spirits as well as being a nod to Soho’s distant hunting history. A book and a trumpet reflect the artistic creativity for which this special urban area of the British capital is renowned.

The King of Soho vodka and gins are listed in popular London venues such as Opium, Trisha’s Soho, Fallow, Jack Solomon’s, Martinez, The Flight Club, Old Compton Brasseries, My Place and Sophie’s Soho as well as through Gerry’s Wines & Spirits.

For ten years, the brand has benefited from having Jamie Stephenson, known as ‘the Cocktail Guru’ as Global Brand Ambassador.
