Brockmans Gin Launches in Greece

Brockmans Gin is to be available in Greece for the first time.

The UK-based global gin brand has signed a deal with Alexandrion Wines & Spirits for distribution throughout Greece. Brockmans Gin, the 40% ABV English spirit, which is distinguished by its black bottle and berry notes, is now sold in 55 countries.

Based in Athens, Alexandrion Wines & Spirits is the newly created affiliate of Alexandrion Group in Greece. The company provides sales, marketing and distribution services to both its own and agency brands.

Pierpaolo Indelicato, VP International for Brockmans Gin Ltd, said: "We are excited by this new partnership and by the opportunity to add Greece to our markets portfolio; with the super-premium Gin segment in Greece predicted to grow by 49% by 2024 (IWSR) and with the commitment of our partners we are confident in the ability of Brockmans Gin to become a key player in the category".

George Stasinopoulos, the General Manager in Greece for the Alexandrion Group, commented: "Following our successful collaboration with Brockmans in other markets in which we operate, we are extremely pleased to commence the distribution of this fabulous brand in Greece as well. The gin category has experienced strong growth locally in recent years, specially, the super- premium+ category which has been one of the fastest growing spirits segments. We are proud to add to our portfolio the highly respected and top quality Brockmans Gin."

The focus for the brand will be across all relevant on-premise and off-trade channels including supermarkets, cash & carry outlets, and off-licenses as well as bars, cafes, clubs, restaurants, and hotels.

The brand has been selling in Cyprus for many years.
