A Rosy Liqueur Spreads Joy For The Festive Season

When planning your festive season drinks, glam up the menu with the deliciously pink Kwai Feh Lychee Liqueur. Pink drinks instill instant glamour and a sense of fun, and this liqueur is delicately pink and comes in a glorious bottle, so looks good on the bar.

The Lychee Champagne Dessert Cocktail

GLASSWARE: Champagne Coupette

INGREDIENTS:

  • 20mls Kwai Feh Lychee Liqueur

  • 10mls Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin

  • 10mls Fresh grapefruit juice

  • Dry Rosé Champagne to top up

  • 1 tablespoon of cherry gelato

Optional garnish: Luxardo Maraschino cherries

METHOD

Flash shake the first three ingredients with ice, then strain into a coupette, add the cherry gelato and then top up with Champagne, pouring it over the gelato. Serve with a spoon and a paper straw.

This astonishingly different liquid captures the taste of fresh lychee fruits and at 20% ABV is relatively low in alcohol. Beloved by many bartenders for a lychee martini, it is more versatile than that and can help boost your offering throughout the evening. It is made by De Kuyper and distributed in the UK by Amber Beverage UK.

As a simple cocktail, made by topping with lemonade, Kwai Feh is a popular choice. It also works brilliantly in a Rosé Champagne cocktail. It’s also a perfect way to end the evening too, especially during the festive season to add some sparkle and dazzle to the proceedings. In the run-up to the festive season, and even on Christmas Day for those who find Christmas pudding too heavy, this light dessert cocktail is a winner to round off a meal.

It looks complex but is very easy to prepare and it’s Instagram worthy, so you can encourage guests to promote your venue for you.

This is the perfect end to an evening, allowing your guests to sip, savour and sparkle their way through a delightful festive celebration, leaving rosy memories.

Cheers to pink perfection!
