Venue Insight September Issue - OUT NOW

READ ONLINE HERE

Since our last issue (April 2020), the hospitality industry has had one hell of a fight on its hands. It has lost many battles along the way with so many venues failing to pull through but, it appears that since the 4th of July when the on-trade sparked back into action, it seems to be winning the war!

The Eat Out to Help Out scheme throughout August was incredible and provided a lifeline to establishments across the UK. There is still plenty of work to be done but, with some forward thinking and continued support, the hospitality sector can keep its head above water and look to the future with some hope.

So, just how is hospitality coping with the ‘new normal?’ We find out from 3 prominent figures in the industry how they have adapted and how others can follow suit.

There are hundreds of new openings out there which is so positive and fantastic to report on. Backyard Cinema is back at Capital Studios for the first time since lockdown. Costa Del Tottenham has launched ‘Northside’, the huge outdoor, yet fully covered beer hall which is serving up some of the best food, craft beer and entertainment around. ‘Breaking Bread’, Bristol’s all new socially distanced collaborative dining experience from Josh Eggleton is providing a much-needed boost to the city’s hospitality trade. Plonk Golf have opened a new London Fields site comprised of a full nine hole crazy golf course, pinball parlour, retro arcade, ice cream shack, sandwich bar, board games and much more. Manchester will see premium bar operator Arc Inspirations continue their expansion trail and introduce its BOX brand to Deansgate early next year.

It’s great to be back with all the latest news, products, safety measures, innovation and technology to keep your venue at the top of its game.

Good luck and take care.
