Launching 16th April, Backyard Cinema have announced their brand new cinematic extravaganza, just in time for summer: a tropical neon dream world named Paradise City.

Guests must uncover a secret entrance deep within a hidden laundrette, before finding their way through a multi-sensory dreamworld on an otherworldly adventure to find a tropical neon paradise.

Guests will emerge from their journey into the strange light of Paradise City; a glittering tropical paradise with cinema at its core. They will re-discover their love for movies, experiencing unparalleled special effects, dazzling light shows, and live performances. Backyard Cinema’s famous flair for cinema (but not as you know it) ties this package perfectly together: giant beanbags, exotic cocktails, the hottest movies, and an altogether extraordinary experience.

Backyard Cinema have now established Capital Studios as the home of immersive cinema. The newly converted former television studio is complete with two multi-sensory cinema experiences, live music in the studio bar, a tropical drinks garden perfect for summer cocktails, a smorgasbord of famous street food and a brand new summer wine bar.

True to their ‘theme-changing’ ethos, the alternative experience titans are once again transforming Capital Studios. Unrecognisable from its magical winter incarnation, summer will explode onto the scene as you experience a tropical neon world shimmering to life on a huge scale. Paradise City promises an extravaganza at every screening, as customers enjoy huge performances, epic light shows, sing-and-dance-along, tropical parties, giant beanbags and exotic cocktails all whilst being whisked away to a neon paradise to rediscover their love for movies.

You don't need a cinema ticket to enjoy the tropical drinks garden which boasts a refreshing medley of flavours: Luxury Champagne slushies, award-winning garden cocktails, fresh natural wines, and the famous thirst-quenching Backyard Lager from Meantime (to name a few). Accompanying these delights, the mouth-watering smell of famous street food from Honest Burgers & Mother Clucker will fill the air as you choose between custom specialities like The Backyard Burger (with its own spicy Backyard mayo and tobacco onions) and the buttermilk-battered Cluck Bun.
