The Peckham Levels Beer Festival Is Back and Bigger Than Ever!
In partnership with resident bars The Crow’s Nest & Lady Godiva, Peckham Levels are bringing back The Peckham Levels Beer Festival following its successful debut in 2019. A celebration of Southwark-based, independent beer, each brewery will have their own stall serving some of their favourite small batch beers at discounted prices.
Entry is free and for £15, guests can purchase a stamp card from The Crows Nest or Lady Godiva, allowing them an allocation of 5 half-pints of beer from any of the exhibiting breweries. As the festival falls on Burns night, Lady Godiva will also be providing a free shot of whiskey to the first 50 to buy stamp cards for the festival. Live music will be provided by ‘Reggae n That’ with a set from Mr. Gibbon and Ruben Vibes, providing vintage reggae, dancehall, rare-groove and hypnotic dub vibes to keep the party going from start to finish. Breweries involved inc. Brockley Brewery, Brick Brewery, Brixton Brewery, The Drop Project, Orbit Beers, Mondo Beer, London Beer Factory and Small Beer Company. More about Peckham Levels: Set within the inner levels of Peckham's famous multi-storey car park, Peckham Levels is a seven-floor destination that exists to showcase the cultural talent at work in the area. The first five floors (Levels 1-4) provide much-needed affordable workspace for emerging artists, makers and creative entrepreneurs, including Alexander Owen Architecture, an award-winning design studio; gal-dem, a magazine and creative collective written and run exclusively by women of colour; and Foundation FM, an all-female radio station which aims to showcase, champion and nurture female talent in the underground. The two upper levels, (Levels 5 & 6) are a totally unique food, drink and events destination where the public can discover and connect with some of South London's most exciting creators, including Other Side Fried, Near & Far Bar and Cahoona's Hair Hub.
