Żubrówka Wins Vodka Producer of the Year at 2019 International Wine & Spirit Competition

After a hugely successful year in tasting competitions, Żubrówka was awarded the much coveted ‘Vodka Producer of the Year’ 2019 trophy at this year’s International Wine & Spirit Competition banquet. This adds to Roust’s impressive list of top award wins for its vodka portfolio across internationally renowned industry competitions.

The premium Polish vodka brand Żubrówka was awarded the highest accolade of Vodka Producer of the Year, following the brands incredible success at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2019 where Żubrówka Bison Grass and Żubrówka Biała both won prestigious Gold medals.

Żubrówka Bison Grass Vodka is Poland’s most iconic vodka. Every bottle contains a single blade of rare, handpicked bison grass, creating a truly distinctive tasting vodka with a wonderfully herbal flavour. The addition of pure bison grass is testament to the care and expertise with which this exceptional vodka is made.

Żubrówka is available in more than 80 markets worldwide and their latest addition to the UK market, Żubrówka Biała has been responsible for driving remarkable growth for the brand in Poland where the portfolio represents nearly 45% of the total spirits market share, making it the largest player in the country.

This summer, Żubrówka made its Lost Village Festival and Standon Calling Festival debuts in the UK transporting festival goers to the Białowieża forest, the home of the inspiration for Żubrówka vodka and where the iconic bison grass grows. Żubrówka offered world-class cocktails and a unique multi-sensory brand experience to over 26,000 festival goers.

The annual IWSC is now in its 50th year and was created by wine chemist Anton Massel, who, in 1969, had the idea of creating a wine and spirit competition which is now considered the "Oscars" of the wine and spirits industry.
