‘Regular Cleaning’ Celebrates Thank Your Cleaner Day™ Win


Today, 16th October 2019 will see more than 20 countries across the globe come together to celebrate Thank Your Cleaner Day™. On this day Kärcher encourages businesses around the world to recognise the important work that cleaning teams do, which can so often get overlooked.

Now in its fifth year, Thank Your Cleaner Day™ provides businesses with the platform to bring cleaning staff into the spotlight, so that their hard work and dedication in keeping our premises clean can be recognised, reminding everyone of the positive impact they have.

From the hundreds of nominations received, the cleaning team at The Pavilions Shopping Centre in Uxbridge from cleaning services provider ‘Regular Cleaning’ have been selected as this year’s winner of the Thank Your Cleaner Day™ ‘Makes A Difference Award”. The team will receive £1,000 of experience day vouchers.

The winning team were nominated by Aaron Bayliss, Centre Manager at The Pavilions Shopping Centre, who commented “Our cleaning team go above and beyond, putting in effort year-round. I’ve worked in shopping centres for 27 years, with this team for 5 years, and I can honestly say that they’re the best I’ve ever worked with. They’re persistently diligent, deliver safety and cleanliness at the shopping centre, and contribute towards the whole customer journey, from start to finish.”

Phil Power, Marketing Manager at Kärcher UK visited The Pavilions Shopping Centre in Uxbridge to meet the winning cleaning team and said “It is always an honour and a privilege to celebrate the fantastic work undertaken by cleaning operatives who work tirelessly to provide a safe and clean environment for us all. Huge congratulations to the team from Regular Cleaning on winning the Makes A Difference Award and well done to all those teams who were nominated. The vital work of cleaning teams often goes unnoticed so today we say thank you to all those unsung heroes who improve our lives on a daily basis.”
