New Plant Based Pop Up @ NT’s by Palm Greens


A buzzing late night destination where the dance floor comes alive as the sun sets over the city, NT’s reveal a taste of its vast summer programme to come. The NT’s tropical terrace reopens for summer over the late May Bank Holiday weekend with three days of music spanning disco, house, funk, soul and Brazilian. Acts include; Auntie Flo, Poly-Ritmo, YAM Records, Ruby Savage, Thris Tian, Harri Pepper, and Grainger. The weekend concludes with the launch of NT’s brand new month long Sunday series 'A Brazilian Love Affair’ featuring live Brazilian jazz band with indoor and outdoor DJ sets from D Vyser, David Conde and Tuckshop Music. Connecting the dots between jazz, soul, Hip Hop, grime and beyond,brand new live jazz night, ‘Patterns’, will run every Wednesday with an in-house band and special guest performances. A daytime hideaway, vegan deli food by East London’s Palm Greens will be served throughout the week with an artisanal coffee menu whilst Son’s Of Slice will serve up their New York style pizzas on weekends. An evening hotspot for the best cocktails in East to sip on over sunset as NT’s brings in the night with live music and resident DJs.

NT's continues to push its diverse music policy journeying through global house, disco, funk, soul and groove. A newly curated, midweek & weekend programme of live jazz, DJ collectives and late night sets inside and spilling out onto the terrace will take place Wednesdays - Sundays. Every Wednesdays, special guest vocalists and performers will play with the NT’s in-house band who between them have played for some of the most exciting musicians including Roy Ayers, Jordan Rakei, Alfa Mist, Blue Lab Beats, Liam Payne, Ben Jones, Roco Palladino, Unit 31 and much more. The in house band includes Sheldon Agwu - Guitar, Abel Addington - Bass, David Mrakpor- Keys, Johnny Woodham - Trumpet, Isaac Kizito - Drums. Thursday evenings will also now be hosting regular live shows inviting local promoters to showcase unique up and coming live acts. The music will range from nu jazz, soul, hip hop, afro beat, world and more with Jack Tyson Charles, Mali Hayes (Gilles Peterson’s bubblers), Penya, Shunaji, iZem and many more still to be confirmed in the coming months. Fridays are set aside for showcases from the very best labels and collectives in London and beyond; past showcases include their massive party with record label Wah Wah 45s featuring one off performance from Dele Sosimi, arguably the most influential artist working in today's afrobeat scene alongside Medlar. Look out for more exciting Friday night events this May with the likes of Four Heads, Sweetnighter: Joseph Russell w/ Planet Panama, Beating Heart’s 3rd Birthday, ANALOG AFRICA with 2fox and more. Saturday’s ‘Loose Ends’ hosts the very best of global house, disco, funk, soul and everything in between with an early May Bank Holiday all day terrace takeover from Ghost Town with special guest ShyOne as well as Keep Hush, Hazel Marimba and Liv Ayers. For the Loose Ends summer opening special on Saturday 25th May, Brownswood’s Ruby Savage, takes over the terrace for a sun trapped daytime session alongside Harri Pepper and Grainger.

Responsibly sourced produce, with the promise of fresh, feel good food, NT’s joins forces with Palm Greens who will be running their plant based salad bar during mid- week lunchtime, featuring build your own salads, as well as a beautiful menu of fresh & flavour packed bowls. Breakfast is all about granola bowls, avo toast with nutty chile salsa, specials and a seasonally changing menu Monday to Friday. Weekends pave the way for brunch, whether you're looking for cold-pressed juices & turmeric lattes or after a cocktail and stay to join enjoy the NT's party. With a dish on the menu for everyone, guests can expect Scallion Pancakes with punchy ginger tempeh, truffle Kale Ceasar, vibrant Mexican Tostada Bowls, warming Apple Tahini Toast and more. Palm Greens have put takeaway and delivery service in place to enable the delicious menu to be ordered online, offering the perfect alternative lunch to desk for health-conscious looking for a quick fix.

For the pizza lovers out there, Son's Of Slice have got you covered. Their signature New York style pizza's oozing with cheese will be available to tuck into at the weekends.

NT’s Bar will be re-launching and opening its terrace officially on the late May bank holiday weekend. Transformed into a tropical hangout, the terrace will be open at the weekends from 3pm until late with DJs and live music, offering endless evenings of sundowners and late night dancing all summer long.
