Vegan Dining Cafe 'We Are Vegan Everything' Now Open

The duo behind Camden Market’s hugely popular vegan bakery, Cupcakes and Shhht, have announced the launch of their new cafe. ‘We Are Vegan Everything’ (WAVE) will be serving a beautifully crafted menu of ‘freakshakes’, juice shots, kombucha on tap, superfood lattes, blue spirulina smoothie bowls, bulletproof coffee, a display of daily baked fresh vegan gluten free and even sugar free cakes, cheesecakes, brownies, stuffed croissants and cinnamon buns. An all day brunch menu consisting of vegan eggs scrambled or fried, smoked maple tempeh pancakes, sausage rolls and more.

Offering a unique dining experience in the heart of Hackney, WAVE (We Are Vegan Everything) will be serving up a whole host of contemporary alternatives to traditional favourites including their brand new recipe for ‘vegan fried eggs’, made with whole food, plant-based ingredients. Also headlining their specials menu are their new vegan smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels, as well as epic coronation cauliflower toasties and vegan sausage rolls.

Destined to be a firm favourite amongst Hackney locals and the capital’s vegan lovers alike, WAVE aims to defy the stereotypes that surround plant-based food by showcasing a wide range of unique, delicate and delicious vegan food and sweet treats that are not traditionally vegan. Their sweet menu includes some very instagram friendly vegan freakshakes, with flavours like strawberry cheesecake, salted caramel and chocolate brownie all standing out as heavy hitters. For something a bit healthier there’s even ‘health-freaks’ on the menu - a smoothie topped with raw treats, fruit and superfoods. On top of this they host a full display of gluten free cupcakes, peanut butter slices, cheesecakes, brownies, croissants and cinnamon buns.

The bakery also produces immaculate vegan and gluten free wedding and celebration cakes. After launching last year the girls have made wedding cakes of all shapes, designs and sizes. All using natural, ethical, vegan and gluten free ingredients. For more information, please visit: https://wildcakecompany.com/

Inspired by years of cooking together and a growth in their love of food, the founders of Cupcakes and Shhht, Cait & Soph have created WAVE to represent and express the vegan movement. Situated in the heart of Hackney, the all-day cafe will serve a menu of healthy dishes to be eaten in or for take-out. Breakfast options will include garlic & parsley fried mushroom & walnuts on toasted sourdough as well as smoked maple tempeh pancakes with soya ice cream and syrup. Lunch options will continue the experimentation with vegan salmon & cream cheese, dill & watercress bagels and tofu scramble with tomatoes, smoked aubergine, rocket & mixed seeds on sourdough bread.

Drinks include the likes of lattes, smoothie bowls, bulletproof coffee served in coconuts, vegan freakshakes, superfood hot drinks, health-freaks topped with healthy and delicious goodies and Kombucha on tap. For those that like their food in all colours of the rainbow but done ethically, WAVE is the place to be, using vibrant colouring from flower extracts and natural flavourings for their food and drinks.

Committed to sourcing quality, sustainable, ethical ingredients for their menus, WAVE use recyclable and biodegradable packaging wherever possible. With the UK officially named as the world leader for vegan food launches, WAVE is aiming to break away from the fake vegan food fad of late and make vegan food good again, giving its customers food with all the nutrients but without the harmful additives. Discussing their exciting new venture, Caitlyn and Sophie said: "We've become total foodies and can't wait for people to try the food we're passionate about and eat everyday, now that we are vegan everything, part of this amazing vegan wave of being kind and cruelty free. We want our customers to feel like they aren't in London, they aren't stressed, a world where the only thing that matters is if their seat is comfy enough or their coffee is just right. " Beyond food and drink, guests can escape the concrete jungle and relax on bamboo chaise lounge seats, day beds and swinging ceiling chairs where they can sit and chat all day, echoing vibes of a California desert, Morocco and Bali. Aiming to create and showcase exceptional and passionate vegan cuisine that stands out against the current vegan offering in London, Caitlyn and Sophie have big ambitions for WAVE.
