READ ONLINE HERE

I’d like to first start by wishing everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous new year. Christmas feels like it didn’t even happen right?!

The 2019 hospitality events calendar kicks off on the 5th and 6th February 2019 with PUB 19 - the UK’s only dedicated trade show for the pub industry. Returning to Olympia London for its fifth year it’s a must visit for anyone in the industry. This year’s show will feature a line-up of over 50 industry experts, senior figures, leading publicans and suppliers discussing a spectrum of topics all designed to help pub operators grow their business.

Resident band Skiv were gigging at the back end of 2018 and this time they found themselves at The Mulberry Bar & Venue in Sheffield. A seemingly innocuous hub for local music this place really prides itself on its awesome sound which really packs a punch and massively enhances the live music experience. They also stock Fireball by the truckload which is always a bonus! It now seems that more and more venues throughout the land are supporting the DIY scene which is fantastic to see and hear in this instance.

Yes you heard it right, those with their finger on the pulse will know that over the last several years, Australian wine makers have been experimenting with Italian grape varieties and this trend is set to continue.

2019 is set to be a productive year for hospitality technology. Peter Moore from Lolly makes his predictions with Self Serve, Behavioural Biometrics and Pin on Glass (PoG) all at the forefront.

Brockmans the gin ‘like no other’ serve up the beautiful Forbidden Fruit. As the New Year begins thoughts of a dry January should be forbidden. Brockmans say ‘Bring on Ginuary’

Here’s to a great start to the year.

Cheers
