There’s a special kind of thrill that comes with train travel in the 19th century. The practice is in its infancy, and therefore passengers ride for pleasure, not necessity. Guests on ‘The Murdér Express' will enjoy all the decadence of the era, with lavish surroundings and an indulgent four-course meal created by the winner of MasterChef 2016. Praised for her creativity, inspiration & skill, Jane Devonshire has designed a menu fit for the noblest 19th-century passenger. The indulgent four-course meal is suitable for all dietary requirements and will feature delicious Edamame Bean Bruschetta, fragrant Roasted Garam Masala Cauliflower, succulent Lamb Three Ways with Olive, Tomato and Harissa, Brocolli Steak infused with Tahini, Sesame and Chilli, and Apricot and Ginger Polenta Cake. On their journey, guests will be joined by an East End costermonger, a music hall star, a widow in search of adventure and a local antique dealer. They’d better hope that The Murdér Express isn’t as ominous as it sounds, because if there is evil afoot, everyone is a suspect.
