Confetti Crowd and The Gypsy Shrine team up with Junkyard Golf Club for a Glitter Ball takeover
A celebration of colour, glitter cocktails, funk & disco and crazy golf set for the Junkyard Golf Club London and Oxford this June.
Junkyard Golf Club are collaborating with colourful girl gang Confetti Crowd and glitter lovers The Gypsy Shrine for two events taking place in London and Oxford on the 4th and 5th of June. Embracing the shared mantra of ‘there’s no such thing as too much Glitter’, this exciting take over will host an evening of DJs, live circus performances, one-off glitter cocktails for the glitziest Junkyard Golf Club yet.
Taking place on consecutive nights, Glitter Ball marks the official launch party for Junkyard’s summer festival road trip in partnership with Love Support Unite. Travelling to Common People, Gottwood and more, all eyes will be on the spectacularly pimped up VW ‘Golf’ Caddy as it’s revealed for the first time! Huge supporters of the charity and BRIT-Award winning collective Rudimental will be making an appearance on the evening in aid of the launch.
Teeing off a night to remember guest DJ’s will be on hand to spin a variety of disco and funk tracks while golfers putt their stuff. Entrancing LED hoopers, bubble blowers and face painters will complete the visual extravaganza.
Helping to adorn cosmic putters golfing glitter lovers, The Gypsy Shrine will showcase their best bejewelled creations that have helped assert them as the festival go-to for all things glitter. Joining them is Confetti Crowd, London’s most colourful creative girl gang, who together have wracked up 72,000 instagram followers by channeling their colourful adventures. The two have each created an exclusive glittery cocktail in partnership with Junkyard Golf Club, the 'Confettini' and The 'Gypsy Shake', which will be available for two weeks across all venues.
Launched on Brick Lane in March 2016, Junkyard Golf Club London has become a staple amongst Londoners looking for a night out with a difference and has welcomed over 340,000 players through the doors to get their filled of twisted, pun-packed crazy golf between them.
Glitter Ball takes place in London Monday 4th June and in Oxford 5th June. Both events start at 7pm and tickets on sale for £9.50.
