A haven for arts and music alike Juju's new cocktail menu will feature an impressive collection of mezcals, including specialist brands not available anywhere else in the UK.
Highlights include Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, Alipús Santa Ana Del Rio Mezcal, Bruxo No 1 Mezcal, Quiquiriqui Matatlán Mezcal, Pierde Almas La Puritita Verdá and more.
The drinks menu comprises of an extensive selection of delicious mezcal cocktails to accompany the offering, including the Negroni made with Alipus Mezcal, Campari, vermouth and a dash of orange as well as the refreshing Tommys with Quiquiriqui Matatlan Mezcal, fresh lime and agave. Sitting alongside the new house favorite Highball M&T will be the Naked and Famous; made with Del Maguey Vida Mezcal, Aperol, Yellow Chartreuse and fresh lime.
The new menus imaginative Mezcal cocktails are the result of a combination of light-hearted experimentation and thoughtful planning, drawing inspiration from Juju’s neon haziness and latino vibes. When designing the new menu, Mezcal Master, Jon Anders Fjeldsrud focused on redefining modern classics using old school techniques, with the end result being a menu that is both explorative and accessible.
With a focus on rare and high-quality tequilas and mezcals, Juju’s aims to educate and inspire drinkers about these often-misunderstood spirits.
Coinciding with the new Mezcal launch, Juju’s will celebrate the sights and sounds of Mexico with Barrio Latino on May 4th; a multisensory night of music, video projections and photography. Offering tantalising tacos, ‘games of fates’ and a fire show - let the sounds of fast paced salsa, merengue, and Latin music ignite with DJ Sergio Falomi.
Juju's Bar & Stage draws on a cross-section of the best of the London art and music scene and is the brainchild of Director Juliet Kennedy.
