Brixton's POW rooftop terrace and club re-opens for Easter weekend


Rooftop party season is back! The Prince of Wales will open the doors to their iconic roof terrace on Good Friday with a jam packed Easter weekend of back-to-back partying. Opening the roof for their first time this year, Brixton’s only rooftop venue lines up a huge headline weekend of music, food and drink all under and on one roof. Kicking off the celebrations on Easter Thursday, Concrete's famous 80's Party is back on the POW rooftop with 80’s Disco, Hip Hop, Soul, House, New wave, Rock and more all night set in an 80's wonderland inspired by the likes of GTA Vice City, Michael Jackson and Back to the Future. 7pm-3am Friday 30th March, beloved South London party-force Horse Meat Disco take over POW to provide a rooftop and club set, filled with treasured classics, loved gems and everything that’s good in between. The four-man DJ collective’s no-rules attitude to music and their polysexual crowd will guarantee an unforgettable start to the summer from 4pm to 4am. Saturday will see Huey Morgan’s NYC Block Party take over the space, with funk, soul, disco and hip hop jams getting thrown into a slick battle-style mix in an old-skool style New York block party up on the roof. 8pm-4am. Closing the long weekend will be Slide & Get Diverted Easter Sunday with a DJ sets from Felix and Owen Hot Chip, and Luke Solomon. 4pm-4am. National Burger Award finalists GoneBurger will be firing up the rooftop burger shack with a menu including The Flameboy and The Kickflip.
