One of London’s best kept secrets, West India Quay offers an all day drinking, dining and leisure experience just a stone’s throw from Canary Wharf and Poplar. The iconic 19th century warehouse enjoys panoramic views of the city skyline and is home to a rich selection of leisure destinations, bars and eateries, all lined with a series of waterside terraces. Whether it’s escaping the weekday lunchtime blues with street food legends KERB; enjoying after work drinks at The Sipping Room, Browns Brasserie & Bar and Rum & Sugar; date night at some of London’s hottest restaurants including Burger & Lobster and Pizza Pilgrims; or a family weekend out at The Museum of London Docklands and Cineworld’s 10 screen cinema, West India Quay is the ideal destination for any occasion.

The sizeable outdoor terrace invites punters to enjoy the soothing flavoured vapour of shisha with a selection of cool mocktails. The Temple lounge is steeped in ambience and offers the perfect atmosphere to relax with friends or savour an exotic meal.

Rum & Sugar

With an impressive selection of 200 rums behind the bar, Caribbean cuisine to spice up even the dullest days and an incomparable atmosphere, Rum & Sugar is on of the quayside's must-visit destinations. Throughout the summer, diners can enjoy a BBQ pop-up on the terrace serving a selection of delicious chargrilled dishes.

The Ledger Building

The Grade I listed, Ledger Building is open for food all day, from breakfast through to midnight, with special menus including a curry club on Thursdays. There is a wide selection of cask ales and craft beers to choose from, along with wines and spirits that can be enjoyed in the cobblestone terraced garden, overlooking the dock.

Focusing on trade, migration and commerce in London, the museum is family friendly with events all year round and a free interactive space for younger visitors called Mudlarks Children’s gallery.
