The second edition features thought-provoking speakers, health and fitness gurus, conscious food concessions and mindful meditation for those looking to re-center and reconnect after the festive season.
Taking place at Juju's Bar & Stage, in the heart of East London's Old Truman Brewery site, from 4th to 31st of January, the festival is destined to draw a big crowd of self-respecting yogis and fitness fans seeking to try something different and kick-start the new year in a healthier way. Bigger and better than the first year, Re:Solutions festival promises a stellar 2018 programme with yoga, dance and fitness classes from the likes of Yogahood, Fat Buddha Yoga and Disco Barre as well many others who will inspire, guide and lend life wisdom. From lunchtime yoga to swing and cuban dance classes with uplifting live music, the choice is plentiful. Working in collaboration with Urban Temple, this year’s event also sees offerings in unusual and innovative realms, such as Chroma light yoga with intense coloured light settings, Disco Barre and Pilates as well as dynamic Afrofusion, Soca and movement workshops lined up to deliver an all-embracing proposition. Classes are complemented with authoritative speakers and wellness coaches including one of the most successful coaches in the UK, Hari Kalymnios, the author of the ground-breaking and thought-jarring book – ‘The Thought Gym’.
In addition, there will be mindfulness and meditation workshops and gong baths, headlined by the brilliant Nick Stolerman and Siri Sadhana Kaur. What’s more, the festival's music offering will work in synergy with the festival goers’ mood with bands and performers all coming together to deliver an awesome atmosphere. From Latino dance tunes to blissfully laid back melodies, to live bands and yoga classes led by Ministry Of Sound DJ’s, the roster of musical talent is set to be utterly impressive. To ensure revellers are nourished from the inside out, the food offering has one mission – to fuel the mindful masses with vital minerals and conscious ingredients, keeping them energised all month long. With the Juju Bean Cafe at the helm, whatever the taste preference and whether the goal is to detox or retox, food will be fresh, tasty, and filled with plenty of goodness. Collaborators include Moju juices, Karma Cola and the vegan, refined-sugar and gluten free Cupcakes and Shhht for guilt-free indulgence. Nestled in the heart of the Old Truman Brewery, Juju's Bar & Stage is a freeform haven for arts and music alike. Shunning the norm and embracing all art forms, Juju's draws on a cross-section of the best of the London art and music scene and is the brainchild of Director Juliet Kennedy.
