Boxpark Shoreditch announce a number of exciting developments this winter as Snapchat its European store, following the success of last year's launch at Venice Beach, LA. November also sees Black Bear Burger launch a permanent spot on the Boxpark Shoreditch roster, bringing it's tasty patties to the table. On top of this, there's a lauded Rankin exhibition plus children's fashion brand Where's That Bear will be popping up for a full week and selling their modern and bold clothes, perfect for any early Christmas shopping. And as if that wasn't enough excitement, Boxpark Shoreditch will also play host to a gigantic MTV EMA Award sculpture situated on The Green ahead of the MTV EMA Awards 2017. Boxpark Shoreditch announce a number of exciting developments this winter as Spectacles launch its first European store. Spectacles are sunglasses that Snap, made for Snapchat. Boxpark Shoreditch is set to become the first European home for Spectacles where a dedicated store opens on Saturday 11 November, just in time for Christmas and the winter sport season. The store is an interactive space for the public to come and try out Snap Inc's first hardware product - Spectacles.
Black Bear Burger will also be joining the Boxpark Shoreditch family permanently. Created by a husband and wife duo as a result of their mutual appreciation of good times and good food, Black Bear Burger will be serving up their mouth watering meaty masterpieces, such as the drool-worthy 'The Black Bear' and always delicious 'Brunch Burger'.
As well as welcoming brand new permanent traders, November will also see Boxpark Shoreditch celebrate the MTV EMA Awards 2017 with a gigantic statue of an MTV EMA Award constructed on The Green. The event itself will be taking place on 12th November with performances from the likes of Stormzy, The Killers and French Montana.
The MTV EMA Award pop-up sculpture will be situated in four locations across London: Shoreditch, Wembley, Trafalgar Square and Camden Market with local artists taking to create unique works. By sharing a selfie of the statues on their Twitter or Instagram channels using #TakeMeToTheEMAs and the caption ‘I WANT TO GO’, entrees will be automatically put into the draw to win tickets to the 2017 MTV EMAs ceremony or an MTV Music Week event of their choice.
Then arrives Hunger Magazine, marking the publication's five year milestone for the whole month of November with an exclusive exhibition from magazine founder and the renowned photographer Rankin. Whilst showcasing his celebrated work, the fashion and lifestyle publication will host a week long pop-up from 13th November stocking the brand new issue, posters, back issues plus exclusive signed, out-of-print copies of books from Rankin’s archive and more.
