Exclusive Valentine’s cocktails by Franklin & Sons at the Queens Ice and Bowl

Stuck for something to do this Valentine’s Day? Franklin & Sons have created some exclusive his and hers cocktails for Valentine’s at the perfect dating spot - something a little different, and a lot of fun.

Queens Ice and Bowl, first built in 1932, is an iconic venue which is the only permanent ice rink in Central London and has recently been completely refurbished. It is now home to a newly decorated bowling alley, skating rink and retro restaurant and bar, where you can choose from a selection of crafted cocktails.

Joining the premium cocktail menu at Queens are handcrafted creations ‘Crazy Gin Love’, for her, and ‘Bulleit For My Valentine’ for him. Both cocktails include Franklins Wild Strawberry and Scottish Raspberry with Cracked Black Pepper, adding in a natural aphrodisiac. The ladies option combines gin, coconut milk and egg white with strawberry puree, a splash of Campari and a slight infusion of raspberry and ginseng tea to intensify the fruit flavourings. Strawberry and Raspberry Franklins is then used to finish the cocktail, capturing the flavours for a Valentine’s taste that she’ll love.

For him, Bulleit Bourbon mixed with a dash of lemon and apple juice, with a hint of maple syrup to sweetly compliment the accomplished spirit. The cocktail is then topped up with a dash of Strawberry and Raspberry to add a sweet final touch.
